My massacre of [link]
's ever so popular meme. Thought it would help me out just in drawing expressions, 'cause I never do...didn't think much about the character design though...so kinda half-assed. It was fun, and I'll probably do it again...better-ly. lol
I realize now, with an opinion from Clover
that I should try to lean more toward cartoonish-ness, since the expressions are there but don't really pop out or get the point across as well as they could. Thanks, babe.
Mkay... got some credits 'cause I'm a lazy ass who can't do anything all by myself.
Sixth row, middle picture (a maniacal expression) would be [link]
Really wish I would've known about him before I started drawing these, he's got some great expressive stock and an all around badass look. Go check 'em out.
as the "hopeful" expression right next to the aforementioned. I don't think I've seen much of her stock, which is crazy 'cause she rawks so hard. lol Fantasy artists should really go check it out.
So I'll probably tuck this attempt into scraps later, but I'm glad for the experience, drawing (or trying to draw) the same character from different angles in different expressions n' all. I'd recommend this meme-ishness to anyone, and the tutorial linked to on that page...read it before you go a-scribbling (I....didn't =/)
Crits, opinions, etc. always welcome.
By the way... you might've noticed it's not 25...I added some, dunno why. Also, the last row is the weird one...did the same character as thicker, thinner, older, infant, and child....dunno why.
Edit: I missed one! Thanks to
for the reference in "Silly": [link]
He makes referencing fun.
